My booking ID for hotel booked in Nainital through OYO was SYFT 5172. This was booked in September 2016 for 18-20/03/2017 i.e., 3 nights. Immediately I was conveyed with the name of the hotel – “Hotel Shalimar Deluxe”, Mall road, Nainital with 2 rooms booked and the total amount which I needed to pay was Rs. 7, 044/-. However, I didn’t pay any amount in advance to OYO. On 18th March, 2017 when I arrived at the hotel along with my family the hotel people said that there were no such booking conveyed by the OYO to them and they are not left with any vacant room. I felt very insulted and immediately called OYO Customer care no. The executive on the other side promised me to arrange a call for me within 10 minutes. After 10 minutes I received a call from the local fellow pretending himself as a representative of the OYO. He offered me with some other options but looking at the heights and stairs of those properties I didn’t opt for the same as my elderly parents were also accompanying me. I felt very bad and felt cheated by the OYO. Later on I had to find hotel suitable to me with my own efforts. They are totally gross negligent and irresponsible towards their customer.
