On 14th Feb. 2017, I had visited to your HDFC life Mulund branch, Mumbai and there your HDFC staff Vaishali Jadhav who was present started explaining on HDFC pro growth. She explained the details and when I got the mail what she had stated and what we had got was there was lot of difference . I stay in Bangalore and we send an authority letter along with my Father in law to cancel the policy to the branch, staff misbehaved with my father in-law and started saying that it is only 1 lac what is it for you. She refused to cancel the policy when it is clearly mentioned that the policy can be cancelled with in 15 days .
We went to Bangalore M.G Road, Nagaraj who was attending us mentioned that Bank statement and application form for cancelling the policy is sufficient . We gave the details to them and acknowledgement was given for cancelling the same . After 1 week we get an email that we cannot cancel as Pan Card is missing . All these details and proofs was submitted at the time of opening the policy.
Still also we went to Bangalore Silk board branch and we gave the PAN card copy for cancelling the policy Application number ( 1341991125321) and she informed that it is completed .
After 1 week we get an email that your request has been processed . it is 24th March and still we have not get our funds back . It is more than 1 1/2 month and we have not got our funds back . I am preferred customer for HDFC bank and they deduct 115 Rupees per quarter from my saving account . Is this is the service they provide for their preferred customers. I am disappointed by the service provided and hence raising a complaint to get my money back .
