Complaint Details:
On[protected] morning 9:50 A.M my 10 months old Volkswagen car met with an accident on Mangalore – Chikmanglur highway, within 30kms radiation of the Volkswagen Mangalore showroom. As per my Bangalore showroom advisor, i called road crash assistance Toll free number for towing. Road crash assistance didn’t help me with the towing and rather asked me to arrange for towing myself, saying the money will be reimbursed (which is upto 3000 only). But i spent 3500 on towing. Road crash assistance also told me she will be sending a link to me for reimbursement but i still haven’t received it yet. Regards, to the Mangalore showroom i visited they said the insurance is not linked with their showroom and they made me run around for the claim procedure and now I’ve been told to pay an advance amount which will again be reimbursed. Event after 6 days of the incident i still haven’t got a clear picture on what to be done. They’ve given an estimation but in that few undamaged parts are also mentioned for repair. When i asked about undamaged part which has been mentioned for repair, they said insurance company will decide.
