Scam or fraud: Daikin Air Conditioners / Daikinindia.com — Defective Split AC sold by dealer BEWARE OF DAIKIN

Complaint Details:
I have bought 1.5 ton split ac of Daikin from BHASIN BROTHERS, begum bridge, Meerut(UP) on 02/06/2016. After few days of working, the capacitor got shot, being under warranty the part was replaced but it took 2 complaints and almost 10 days, after few months again same problem arises, upon complaining, my unit was cleaned and washed properly and it was cooled down and it started working again, AC used to trip sometimes in a day, but i thought it was a normal cooling procedure. Winters arrived by this time and Ac was no more used. Again in summers, it worked for 10 days hardly (with compressor tripping twice/thrice a day) and again the same problem stood there, AC started to trip several times in a day. After lodging complaint engineer told me that ROOM TEMPERATURE SENSOR is faulty and they replaced it, but from very same day problem was not resolved, again on re-complaining another engineer visited and I straight away demanded unit replacement/return because i was feeling like being looted for a defected unit sold, but DAIKIN deputy manager, Mr. Jitendra Tiwari (9717998751) asked me to allow them to replace PCB(circuit) and capacitor last time and moreover assured me that problem shall not arise again.

After waiting for another hot 7 days spares were received and again the AC worked well for 2-3 days and again it started to trip once/twice a day.

Now latest complaint was made on 13/06/2017 complaint no. 11022441, upon which the engineer visited and told me that unit has manufacturing defect and the capacitor is getting over heated thats why it is tripping. It took 1 year to trace the problem, may be they were trying to intentionally end up my warranty period, but thankfully i have registered complaints with them and 5 year compressor warranty,

Again, Mr Tiwari asked the engineer to change the compressor this time, i was like dumbstruck, after replacing so many parts, you want to replace the heart of my new AC, i asked them to change my complete unit and to which their engineer agreed and said they will try their level best and get the unit exchanged.

After 2 days of no working and no response from Daikin, I myself called up Amarjeet Maurya, local service centre, and surprisingly, he straight away in denial mode said: “we cannot help you, you may talk to Tiwari ji for future.”

I arranged his contact number and called him and he was like ignoring me during the conversation, by just replying me with HMMM HMMM and in the end he said i will discuss for the replacement (may be with his seniors) and revert, but again like their poor products their response was also poor and nobody reverted.

Today I am so much annoyed, displeased, irrirtted and angry with product and services of DAIKIN that i have to make the complain here.

The motive of this complaint is not only to get justice and get replacement or better a refund, but this complaint is a warning for many other consumers who are planning to buy Daikin and get trapped and thereby fooled.

I want proper compensation for the sleepless nights of my parents, I repent gifting them Daikin AC fro thier room, i was myself very worried and attacked by insomnia as i was looted for my hard earned 33000/-, i have spent so much on travelling from service centres and dealer. Dealer (BHASIN BROTHERS) was least concerned with my issue, he never attended my phone calls and in showroom he was always busy in attending new customers and trapping them.
